Dipl. Ing. Axel Wanischeck-BergmannPatent Attorney / European Patent Attorney
Mr Wanischeck-Bergmann graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a degree in Mining Engineering.
He has worked in intellectual property law since 1989.
After completing his training at our law office, he worked as a patent attorney in Rottach-Egern and Cologne. In 1996, he took over the Köhne law office in Cologne, which merged with our law office in 2006. He has been a partner in our law office ever since.
Dipl. Ing. Stefan BrinkmannPatent Attorney / European Patent Attorney
Mr Brinkmann completed his studies in mechanical engineering, specialising in design and manufacturing technology, at the Universities of Paderborn and Charlotte, NC, USA. He has been working in the field of industrial property rights since 1998.
He joined the firm in 2006. Mr Brinkmann has been a partner since then and, since 2021, has also been the namesake of our firm.
Mr Brinkmann is co-author of the book ‘EPÜ-Handbuch’ (EPÜ Handbook), published by Carl Heymanns Verlag.
Dr. David DüsselbergPatent Attorney / European Patent Attorney
Dr. Düsselberg studied chemistry at RWTH Aachen University and HHU Düsseldorf University.
In 2013, he received his doctorate for his dissertation in the field of organic and macromolecular chemistry. During his dissertation, he founded an IT start-up and authored several scientific articles.
He successfully completed his training in 2016 and has been working as a patent attorney at our law office ever since.
